About Azienda Agricola Franco Mondo

Located in the village of Serralunga d’Alba, Palladino crafts classic Barolo wines from some of the most revered vineyards in the region. The soils here, composed of limestone and clay, lend structure and longevity to their Nebbiolo wines, which are known for their powerful tannins and complex aromas of tar, roses, and truffles.

The Palladino estate is renowned for its traditional approach to winemaking, with long macerations and aging in large Slavonian oak casks, allowing their Barolos to develop deep complexity over time.

Their flagship cru, “San Bernardo,” is a testament to the unique terroir of Serralunga, offering intense minerality and exceptional aging potential. Palladino practices organic viticulture, focusing on minimal intervention in the cellar to preserve the purity of the fruit.
